Abstract
The transition to sustainable energy sources necessitates efficient energy storage technologies to overcome intermittency and meet increasing demand. This paper explores advancements in energy storage, focusing on batteries, supercapacitors, and emerging solutions. It discusses the key challenges of energy storage, including capacity, cycle life, and environmental impact, and highlights recent innovations in materials and designs. The paper also addresses the integration of energy storage in renewable energy systems and grid applications, emphasizing the role of storage in achieving a sustainable energy future.
