Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized the concept of smart homes and building automation. This paper explores the integration of IoT devices and technologies in residential and commercial spaces, enabling enhanced control, energy efficiency, and security. It discusses IoT applications such as smart thermostats, lighting control, security systems, and energy management. The paper also highlights the challenges related to data privacy and cybersecurity in the era of IoT-enabled smart environments.
