Abstract

Autonomous marine vehicles (AMVs) have revolutionized ocean exploration and monitoring. This paper explores the diverse applications of AMVs, including underwater mapping, environmental monitoring, marine biology research, and offshore resource exploration. It discusses the technological advancements enabling autonomous navigation and data collection in challenging marine environments. The paper emphasizes the critical role of AMVs in expanding our understanding of the world's oceans and their ecosystems.
