Abstract

This paper explores the revolutionary impact of AI-driven engineering on energy systems and sustainable development. Through case studies and research insights, it examines how artificial intelligence is transforming the energy sector, including power generation, distribution, and consumption. The study highlights the application of AI techniques such as machine learning, optimization algorithms, and predictive analytics in enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and environmental performance of energy systems. Additionally, it discusses the integration of AI with renewable energy sources, energy storage technologies, and smart grids to enable the transition towards a more decentralized, resilient, and sustainable energy infrastructure. The paper also addresses challenges such as grid integration, regulatory barriers, and societal acceptance in the adoption of AI-driven engineering solutions in the energy sector. It emphasizes the need for interdisciplinary collaboration, policy support, and public engagement to unlock the full potential of AI in accelerating the transition to a low-carbon, affordable, and equitable energy future.
