Innovations in Manufacturing and Industrial Processes
Abstract
This paper investigates the transformative role of AI-driven engineering in manufacturing and industrial processes. Through case studies and research insights, it explores how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing traditional manufacturing practices, including production planning, quality control, and supply chain management. The study highlights the application of AI techniques such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and digital twins in optimizing production workflows, reducing downtime, and improving product quality. Additionally, it discusses the integration of AI with advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing, robotics, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices to enable flexible, agile, and adaptive manufacturing systems. The paper also addresses challenges such as data interoperability, workforce reskilling, and cybersecurity in the adoption of AI-driven engineering solutions in manufacturing. It emphasizes the need for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and investment in AI research and development to unlock the full potential of AI in driving innovation, productivity, and competitiveness in manufacturing industries.
