Abstract

This paper examines the optimization of supply chain management (SCM) for global competitiveness through AI-driven engineering. It investigates how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing traditional SCM practices, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization. Through case studies and research insights, the study highlights the application of AI techniques such as predictive analytics, machine learning, and optimization algorithms in enhancing the efficiency, agility, and resilience of supply chains. Additionally, it discusses the integration of AI with IoT sensors, blockchain technology, and predictive maintenance systems to enable real-time visibility, traceability, and risk mitigation across supply chain networks. The paper also addresses challenges such as data integration, interoperability, and supply chain disruptions in the adoption of AI-driven engineering solutions in SCM. It emphasizes the importance of collaboration among supply chain partners, technology providers, and policymakers to harness AI's potential in driving sustainable growth and competitive advantage in global markets.
